She is currently working on several other projects, including a novel spanning nearly 100 years of Colorado’s pivotal prospecting and mining days, and a novel based on the true story of the impactful and beloved WWII song, Lili Marlene.

For many years, Karina was a regular book review columnist for The Summit Daily  and The Vail Daily newspapers, and contributed articles and photographs to Holistic Parenting Magazine.
